Overview

Weatheroak is an Arts & Crafts style house located on the banks of the Percuil River.

The site lies within the AONB also the Roseland Heritage Coast. The brief is to add a new wing to the house and reconfigure the internal layout of the existing building. The new wing follows the form and detailing of the existing building, but rather than replicate the existing, the new extension acts as an evolution of this so as to appear both new and familiar.

I am a Multidisciplinary Designer and Art Director with over 20 years of experience in the creative industry. I have worked with renowned international sports, outdoor, fashion, and lifestyle brands to help build their brand through brand guardianship and stewardship.

Currently, I work as a freelance Multidisciplinary Designer and Art Director, collaborating under the umbrella of my small creative consultancy Studio John. I leverage my expertise to help independent lifestyle brands achieve their strategic and creative goals.
