Cider Barn
Overview
The gloomy barn was transformed into a welcoming, functional holiday let. Our design arrived at a layout option that ensured the best use of the downstairs open-plan living space.
The colour scheme was inspired by the colours found along the Cornish coastal paths. A vibrant fern green is used in the kitchen and on the sofa, a soft subtle blue-green on the custom-made joinery and accents of a rich deep yellow in the soft furnishings, both inspired by the colours of lichen that you find on the rocks. The colours of the ever-changing Atlantic Ocean are introduced in bright shades of teal and deep dark blue.
